Rules & How Ranking Works
RankItem is a public discovery leaderboard for physical creations. You sponsor your product to stand above everyone else on the wall.
How ranking works
- Sponsorships are whole US dollars.
- Paying less than #1 still places your product on the board at whatever rank that cumulative total can claim.
- Enter the same product URL again to raise that listing. You only pay the difference from the current total. Another creator cannot take your rank by paying that difference.
- Each product listing is keyed by its unique URL path so multiple products do not share a placement. Tracking query strings are ignored.
What you can list
- A legitimate physical product store URL or creator portfolio.
- Chat and invite links are not allowed (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar). The directory is for physical products and makers, not group chats.
- Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral, and deceptive tracking URLs are automatically filtered.
- Adult content, gambling, malware, illegal goods, and scam redirects are strictly prohibited and refunded.
After you pay
- Your listing is published publicly immediately. Clicks go directly to the URL you submitted, without query parameters.
- A completed payment is what claims the rank position.
- 30% of gross sponsorship proceeds are committed directly to verified charitable causes.
